At TATTIE TOPPER, we believe that chips (or fries, if you insist) deserve better than just salt and ketchup. That’s why we have made it our mission to create bold, addictive, homemade spice blends made just for chips. Whether you’re craving smoky heat or savory umami, our seasonings are designed to elevate every bite — from crinkle-cut to curly, sweet potato to shoestring.

Meet Edwin

Hello, I'm Edwin. Born and raised in Singapore, I came to Scotland in 2010 for university and have been living here since.

I founded TATTIE TOPPER in 2025 to share the amazing flavours that I have experienced growing up in Singapore and travelling extensively around East Asia.

inspired by heritage & memories

The flavours of TATTIE TOPPER are created to spark fond memories of growing up in Singapore, eating my way through the night markets of Taipei, or sauntering down the ancient streets of Kyoto.

For example, the 'Spicy Seaweed' seasoning is inspired by my favourite Singaporean snack and the 'Sesame' seasoning takes influence from Yatsuhashi, a traditional confectionery from Kyoto, Japan.

Our chip seasonings are crafted using high quality ingredients, carefully blended to obtain that unforgettable taste. No cost savings, no shortcuts - just an undying dedication to create the best product.

Handmade in small batches in Scotland

We are based in Longniddry, just outside Edinburgh. We handmake all of our chip seasonings in small batches to ensure maximum flavour, freshness and consistency.
